My skin routine

Today I will reveal a secret how I look after my skin

"If I look like you in my 50th I will be very happy"... Recently I hear it quite often from my clients or even young beauticians colleagues

My response: if you look like me in your 50th you should not be happy as you could look better

WHY??!!

When I was young we did not have such a huge range and ability of treatments and good quality cosmetic.

Do you remember the time when plastic surgery was available only for very rich people or movie stars and singers If the answer is "yes", you probably are about my age...

Here are soooo many opportunities to look better in XXI century

Our skin is a traitor of our age.

The skin's care routine is not only washing our face, applying cream and make up. It is not having Botox three times a year.

It is more complicated and longer process. It is constant care, not when we can afford or have more time. We have to plan the skin care routine.

Ready?

I have two circles and two different skin routines: 1 - a week before and having period and 2 - couple weeks after period.

Before and having period my estrogen and progesterone levels drop. This triggers sebaceous glands to secrete more sebum, an oily substance that lubricates my skin. Too much sebum result in clogged pores and breakouts.

So, the skin care at this time is especially important as I have to deal with spots and inflamed skin.

I:

wash my skin with cleanser

use toner

once a week I apply mask

and finally moisturising skin at least 2 times daily.

Before bed time, I:

remove make-up

wash my skin with cleanser

apply retinol or hialuronic acid serum until fully absorbed

apply moisturiser.

Before and having period I treat my skin with LED blue light. After the period, I use LED red light.

Once every three weeks I have some facial. Vampire Facial is my favorite , although Chemical peels I love as well .

I have Anti wrinkle injections 3 times a year.

Did I tell you that you should not be happy if you would look like me on your 50th? So, I am not happy as well. I am working towards better skin condition and better look. So, the next step is PDO mono threads.

And... Very important to drink plenty of liquids. When I am saying liquids, I mean still water and tea.
