Dermaplaning
Facial dermaplaning
The in-office skincare treatment where an aesthetician gently exfoliates your face with a scalpel. The deep exfoliation treatment can remove up to two weeks of dead skin, and the results last about three weeks. It is very safe and effective at removing dead skin cells and peach fuzz to leave dull skin looking brighter and softer. Aside from helping you get very soft skin, dermaplaning also smooths out uneven skin texture and gives you a smoother base for your foundation and makeup, which means no more cakey makeup for you.
Before the treatment:
Don't use sunbed.
Use moisturiser, creams with sunscreen SPF30.
Don't take blood thinning medications at least a week.
Inform the aesthetician if you have herpes, inflamed acne, psoriasis or other skin problems.
After the treatment:
Avoid direct sun exposure for the 3 days.
Use face protection with sunscreen SPF30.
Don't use make up for 12 hours as your skin barrier has been removed and skin can be easier irritated.
Use moisturiser and hyaluronic acid mask to keep your skin super hydrated and glowing.
Who should avoid dermaplaning?

People with active breakouts.
People with sensitive skin.
