The treatment is a fat dissolving injection that works by liquidating fat cells and destroying them permanently. The broken-down cells are then eliminated naturally through the lymphatic system.  

This typically requires a course of two to four treatments with four to six-week intervals between each session. 

The best results can be achieved in conjunction with Radio Frequency face or body sculpting and skin tightening.

Some of the potential side effects of  fat dissolving may include skin irritation, redness, swelling and tenderness in the treated areas. These side effects are expected to disappear around three to six days after your treatment. 

Aftercare

Avoid sunbeds, swimming, UV light and saunas until the initial skin redness and swelling has settled. Avoid any extremes of temperature for the first week following treatment. You MUST drink plenty of water to flush the broken-down cells out. By massaging the treatment area following administration, the product is dispersed and evenly distributed. In addition, as the Aqualyx dissolves the fat, manual massage will aid the lymphatic system to remove the waste products.
